How It Works

1. Choose Your Fragrance Notes

Choose the fragrance notes you like best and place them in a bottle holder. We recommend starting with five fragrance notes,if this is your first time creating your own perfume

2. Gather Your Ingredients

Find your chosen fragrance notes and any other ingredients you would like to use in your perfume. Later, you can adjust the amounts of fragrance oil, Perfumer’s Spirit, Fixative and Aqua Demineralisée in the calculator.

3. Gather Your Equipment

Take a digital scale, a beaker and some fragrance strips.

4. Choose Your Perfume Bottle

Choose your preferred perfume bottle size, then find a place to sit.

5. Explore the Scents

Place a small drop of each fragrance note on a separate fragrance strip. Write the name or number of the fragrance note on each strip. Arrange the strips in the order you prefer, hold them together and smell them to get a sense of how your finished perfume might smell. Remove or replace fragrance notes until you are happy with the combination.

6. Choose the Roles

Decide which role each fragrance note should have in your perfume:

Primary – the notes you want to stand out the most
Secondary – notes that support and balance the fragrance
Accent – subtle touches that give the fragrance character

7. Calculate Your Formula

Scan the QR code and add your chosen fragrance notes to i the calculator. Choose your fragrance strength and other ingredients – the calculator will show you exactly how much of each ingredient to use.

8. Mix the Ingredients

Measure the ingredients according to your formula and pour them into the beaker. Place the magnetic stir bar in the beaker, put it on the magnetic stirrer and let the perfume mix for about 1 minute.

9. Fill Your Perfume Bottle

Using a funnel, pour the mixture into your perfume bottle.

10. Seal the Bottle

Seal the bottle using the bottle crimper, or ask one of our team members for help.

11. Your Perfume Is Ready!

Congratulations! Your very own perfume is now ready to enjoy.

**** Your perfume may continue to develop and become more harmonious as it rests for 1–2 weeks. Keep it sealed in a cool, dark place, and look forward to experiencing your fragrance again.
